Back to blogging + Memories of my late friend

It's been ages since I last blogged. Sorry for the lack of updates everyone because I'm too lazy & hence, lack of motivation to blog. So today, I'm taking this opportunity to update my blog once again... hehe =)

As some of you may know, today is my late friend, Aaron Teo's 1st anniversary. I never realised time flies so fast until I marked my calendar. Looking back at my life in high school, the memories of him are still fresh in my mind. I remember the times where he used to call me "ang mo" & his funny singing to the Black Eyed Peas song, "Where Is The Love?". Besides that, he's also friendly & helpful to everyone around him. I never regret making friends with him although he can be a lil' bit mischievous & naughty at times.

I'm a person of few words though. Dude, if you are reading this, I just wanna say that you're a cherished friend & all the memoirs of you will never be forgotten. I'm sure you're happy & having a good time up there. Take care & miss you lots.

Memories of "No Apologies" workshop 2007

Just finished sitting for my General Maths test this morning. The General Maths test for Chapter 1 is easy as that chapter was a revision from what I had learnt from SPM, whereas the Chapter 2 is medium as I'm still a lil' confused with the Business Maths. Overall, the test is ok so hopefully I can pass with flying colours.

Since I'm now taking a break from doing my Innovation And Change tutorial activities & English report, I decided to blog about the memories I had during the "No Apologies" workshop in my high school which was held on the 1st & 2nd November 2007. FYI, all the students of Form 4 in my high school must attend the workshop or we will be punished RM12 if we escaped. This workshop is a character-based abstinence curriculum that helps young people to make wise choices regarding high-risk behaviour, including sexual involvement before marriage.

The pics...

The videos (credits to Ashley Lee)...

Tyrone reciting a funny poem written by Matthew
My group's (consisting of Brian Eddy, Clement, Eugene, Franklin, Ashley Ho, Chang Mien, Danielle Zoe & I) play where Eugene played as a drunk driver who wanted to bring the passengers home after their party. I forgot what's the scenario in my group's play since I can't really hear what Danielle Zoe was saying. I looked & acted like a retard in the play since there's no script & I have no idea why my voice sounds deeper in this video. =.= Although it's not as funny as it seems, at least we manage to entertain the audience since we had just finished sitting for our final term exam.
This one is the funniest & the most hilarious play among all the groups. This group consists of Lawrence, Matthew, Tyrone, Rachel, Samantha Pian & Shi Yin. The scenario for their play is "Your BF/ GF has invite you to his/ her house after school. He/ she tells you that his/ her mother is home but when you arrived, you find that no one is in the house but you & your BF/ GF.". Tyrone played as a naughty character and Matthew played as the good one, while the rest played as the props.

That's all the pics & the videos I had. More pics can be seen in Ashley L's blog, so read more about them yea.

The past few days

My life in Swinburne KCH so far is alright. Although there's not much to talk about it, there's at least some Lodgians, a few of my old tution friends & my ex-schoolmate from my elementary school I met there like Agnes, Kelly, Hui Na, Sheryl, Charlene, Nadia, Andre, Joel, Desmond, Frederick, Ambrose, Morgan, Jeffrey, Norman, Wayne, Moses & Samson (just to name these few). Been busy with my Innovation And Change assignment for the past few days & I've just finished it yesterday as I had already passed it up. After the Innovation And Change assignment, I'll be having my General Maths test tomorrow from 10:00a.m. to 11:30a.m. & my English report to do this weekend which I have to pass it up on next Friday.

It's been 9 days since Aaron Teo's death & I had just recovered from my trauma. Looking back at my life in Lodge reminds me the ups & downs I had endured for the past 5 years. I now appreciate my life more despite the depression I had in Form 1. As what William Shakespeare had said in "Life's Brief Candle", life is short like a candle which can only be spent for a fixed period of time. Here are the pics I had with him...Form 1B (2004) with Ms. Lucilla Chin (FYI, he's the 1st guy standing at the back row from the right.)Form 2B (2005) with Ms. Emily JongForm 2B (2005)'s trip to Matang Wildlife ParkForm 3B (2006) with Mrs. Yap

That's all the pics I had with him where all of them above are my class photos. Life goes on as time passes. Gotta stop here to study my General Maths for tomorrow's test. Toodles.

Friendship Forged In Fire

I'm feeling bored right now, so I decided to post a video up for the sake of killing my boredom. This video is about a song called "Friendship Forged In Fire" played by Alyssa Chua, Jesse & Joseph during Amy's farewell in Sidney's house. I know that this video is a lil' outdated 'cuz this video was posted in 2006 & it was like 3 years ago. Here's a video of them playing the song for Amy, so go ahead & enjoy watching it yea?

This video is 1 of the best memories I've ever had 'cuz not only we celebrated Amy's farewell, we also celebrated Soak Kian's 15th b'day for a lil' while since the farewell party was held on Soak Kian's b'day. 3 more days left before I'm going to Brisbane, so I guess I'll be sitting for my law test after I come back from my trip. Gotta remind myself to bring my law textbook & its exercises to my trip, so that at least I can keep myself busy in the plane while I'm on my way to Brisbane since the journey is like around 5 to 7 hours. Gotta stop here right now & toodles.

The end of my childhood life

There was a moment where I attended preschool (forgot its name) at around the age of 3 & I cried a lot.

There was a moment where I attended Kenyalang Park Kindergarten at the age of 4. I still cried a lot & my parents told me that I was the noisiest person in my family.

There was a moment where I graduated from kindergarten at the age of 6.

There was a moment where I 1st joined SJK Chung Hua Pending in Primary 1.

There was a moment where I cried during my last day in elementary school 'cuz I was sad to leave all of my friends who has been with me for 6 years.

There was a moment where I was so excited to attend my 1st day in SMK Kuching High in Form 1.

There was a moment where I transferred myself to Lodge School 'cuz all the classes in SMK Kuching High take Chinese for PMR & SPM. I gave up studying Chinese 'cuz it was really difficult & there are lots of idioms to memorize.

There was a moment where I became happy when I 1st attended Lodge School on the 12th February 2004 & found out that Shi Yin, who used to be my BM tuition friend also attended the same school with me on the same day.

There was a moment where I became a lil' bit disappointed when I found out that Shi Yin & I were not in the same class. I was a new girl in Form 1B & she was in Form 1A, so that's where I started to become scared & nervous when I 1st walked into my new class.

There was a moment where I hated my 1st few weeks in school & ended up having depression 'cuz I don't really have friends in my class.

There was a moment where I became suicidal since I had depression & I never told any of my family members about that dark secret.

There was a moment where I seek help from my tutor to overcome my depression & I got really emotional about it.

There was a moment where I started to make friends with Soak Kian, Ashley Ho & Kelly after I had overcome my depression.

There was a moment where I started to have Stefanie as 1 of my besties & we had formed a new group with only 5 of us for our final term of BM oral in Form 1.

There was a moment where we 1st formers joined the trip to RTM station.

There was a moment where 2 of my friends who were my Form 1 classmates: Carmen Chai & Crystal Lau had left Lodge after Form 1.

There was a moment where 2 new students: Jordan & Reuben came to my class in Form 2.

There was a moment where my school had our very 1st musical drama in 2005, "Joseph & The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat".

There was a moment where I started to make new friends from other classes: Kimberly, Samantha Aw, Geraldine, Danielle Zoe, Felicia Ting, Chang Mien, Agnes & Joash (just to name a few).

There was a moment where we 2nd formers joined the trip to the S'wak State Library.

There was a moment where we 2nd formers joined the Matang trip & it was just ok.

There was a moment where my school had our 2nd musical drama in 2006, "The Wizard Of Oz".

There was a moment where I celebrated Amy's farewell in Sidney's house after PMR & I was having a lot of great time.

There was a moment where we 3rd formers joined the KL trip along with Ms. Connie Lau, Mr. Francis Tan, Mr. Danny Kueh, Ms. Vivien Ng & Mrs. Yap after PMR & it was great.

There was a moment where we 3rd formers celebrated Clarice, Ms. Connie Lau & Stephenie's b'day in a Chinese restaurant on the 1st day of KL trip.

There was a moment where I had Mr. Danny Kueh wearing almost everything brown on the 3rd day of KL trip. I can say that he's one of the best & the most interesting teachers I've ever had in my entire life.

There was a moment where 4 of my friends: Amy, Felicia Ting, En Hui & Sidney had left Lodge after Form 3.

There was a moment where I had Shi Yin, Geraldine, D. Zoe M & Kimberly as my classmates in Form 4 & was really happy about it, but sad that Soak Kian, Kelly & Stefanie are not my classmates anymore & also Samantha Aw, who was moving to Lodge International School.

There was a moment where my school had our very 1st musical evening in 2007.

There was a moment where I went out with Danielle Zoe & Kimberly to have lunch, shop & watch movies right after our final exam in Form 4.

There was a moment where we 4th formers along with the students of Year 10 from Lodge Internatonal School attended the "No Apologies" workshop.

There was a moment where my classmates of 4th formers (4B) & I joined the trip to UNIMAS University along with some of the 1st formers.

There was a moment where I was sad to find out that Kimberly would be leaving to Melbourne after Form 4.

There was a moment where I was celebrating Kimberly's farewell in her house before she left to Melbourne.

There was a moment where I had my class photo taken in Great Wall studio in Form 5 & it was such a great experience to take our final pics together with our class teacher.

There was a moment where my school had our 2nd musical evening in 2008, "An Evening With The Stars".

There was a moment where we 5th formers joined the KK trip along with Mr. Kenny Liong & Ms. Felicia Siaw & it was fantastic since it was my final field trip in high school.

There was a moment where I attended my ex-schoolmate, Jeffrey's 17th b'day party in his house & I was happy to see a few of my ex-schoolmates & ex-classmates back in my elementary school during the party.

There was a moment where I woke up one morning to find out that it was my last day in high school.

There was a moment where my class teacher was spreading gospel & giving her final speech to my class which really broke me & the rest of my classmates down.

There was a moment where I find out that I had just completed my 5 years in high school after SPM.

There was a moment where I attended Ashley Lee's party to celebrate his 17th b'day, farewell & graduation in S'wak Club & it was a BLAST.

The class photos I took in school... Form 1B (2004) with English teacher, Ms. Lucilla Chin Form 2B (2005) with Maths teacher, Ms. Emily JongForm 3B (2006) with English & Geography teacher, Mrs. YapForm 4B (2007) with Add. Maths teacher, Mrs. Ngu Form 5B (2008) with Mrs. Ngu, Mr. Ling & the rest of the teachers who have taught me in Forms 4 & 5 (P.S.: Not all the teachers who have taught me in Forms 4 & 5 are in this pic though)

And the class photos I took in Great Wall studio......will always be remembered in my heart.

My childhood life has now come to an end & the new life in college will begin on March 23rd since I take March intake in Swinburne KCH. I'll never forget those memories I had with my friends & my teachers & these moments I had shall never be forgotten.

The last 2 days in school

16th & 17th October marked the last 2 days in school for the Lodge's 5th formers of 2008. Time flies as 2008 is the final year for me to be in Lodge. I'm kinda happy to start my new life in college but sad at the same time where I have to leave all of my friends who has been together with me in this school for 5 years. Since I've just recovered from my sickness except the fact that I still have a cough but it's not as bad as it is right now, here are the pics of my last 2 days in school before the study leave...

After that, my class teacher (Mrs. Ngu) gave us 5B-ians a tabung each as a token to remember her & she gave a speech the next day which really broke me & the rest of the 5B-ians down. Thx Mrs. Ngu, it's really thoughtful of you & you're the best teacher that I've ever had in my life. I really appreciated the gospel & it was just so touching. *sobs*

After the party, Shi Yin, Ashley H & I had decided to take some random pics around the school to kill our boredom before we 5th formers enter the lecture theatre to receive the prizes & the report cards.Taking a random pic of our watches. That's all the pics I had in my camera & I didn't take any pics in the lecture theatre when receiving the report cards 'cuz my camera almost ran out of batteries. And lastly, the memories of my life in school will always be in my heart & shall never fade away.
